What are the costs of the Pro Makeup Artist Course

30 live lessons and 4 photo shoots on location and more than 12 professional online tutorials make-up skills, airbrush, body paint and SFX make-up

€199 at registration. From the moment we receive your registration, we will keep a place for you. After paying the registration fee, you can cancel free of charge for 14 days.

12 x €285 monthly or the full tuition fee of €3300 in one go (€120 payment discount is deducted when paying in one go). The 1st payment is 2 months before the start of the course.

Where can I work after the Pro Makeup Artist Course

If you want to work independently as a freelancer and provide make-up for photo shoots, fashion shows, TV, video clips & film recordings or work for NARS, Charlotte Tilbury, LAURA MERCIER, MAC Cosmetics or one of the cosmetics shops at Bijenkorf, then you are in the right place with this premium training. If you wish, you can also start with assignments through our own Art of Colors Agency after the course.

Art of Colors collaborates with many high-end cosmetics brands that provide exclusive master classes and have discount programs for our students. In addition to the 4 photo shoots with professional photographers in our own photo studio, you will have the possibility to work backstage during internships at several photo shoots, shows and more. With these photo shoots you’ll immediately build a good portfolio.

How many days do you have lessons in the Pro Makeup Artist Course

When you follow the PRO Makeup Artist Course, you have lessons on 1 fixed day a week. In total you will have 26 classes and you will also spend about 3 hours a week doing homework (practice new make-up techniques) and preparing for the next lesson. Besides you can join for free the extra masterclasses and the entrepreneurial lesson for freelance makeup artists.

Is it possible to follow the course alongside work or another study?

Many of our students work or follow another course in addition to the PRO Makeup Artist Training course. This is easy to do, because the lessons are always on the same day and time.

You do not need any previous education or qualifications for the PRO Makeup Artist Course. You learn all the makeup artist skills during this training.

I am under 18 years old and want to follow the Pro Makeup Artist Course. Is that possible?

You can start with the PRO Makeup Artist Course when you're 16 years old.

In the Netherlands, you are obliged to follow a course that leads to a basic qualification until you are 18 years old. The course must lead to a diploma at HAVO, VWO, MBO level 2, or higher.
